Is it difficult to rent property in Adelaide if you have pets?

I’m emigrating soon, and I heard that it can be pretty tricky to find places in Adelaide that will allow a dog. I have a cat too. Any tips on where to look?

According to recent newspaper reports the vacancy rate for rental properties here in Adelaide at the moment is only about 1% and we keep on hearing about people that have been looking for weeks if not months for a suitable property
Also if it is a good property there have been instances of people bidding against each other in regards to how much rent they are willing to pay
So i would say having pets wouldn’t help because landlords are in a position where they can pick and chose at the moment
A few real estate/property management companies here are Ray White, Lin Andrews, Raine & Horne, LJ Hooker.I’m sure they would all have web sites if u want to do some surfing
