Is a partition wall required in the loft to rent the property out?

I have a terraced house built in the 1900s. The party walls do not continue up into the loft – the loft of the whole terrace is one large space.
If i want to rent the property out, will i need to put some kind of partition/fire barrior in?
Also any ideas of cost would be good.
Many thanks in advance

yep or you are breaking fire rules.
not if your renting it as living space
Woudln’t have thought so. I have owned 2 properties like this before and had no problems with insurance . I rented one out and there was not problem with that either.
Only thing was, I used to think that if next door got burgled, they could get into my place through the loft.
No, there are no issues here.
