Can anyone tell me the best place to live and rent property in Malta?

I will be moving to Malta and have no idea the best place to live. I I don’t want to buy at first so I am looking to rent. Has anyone moved there or lives there who could help me? Also is it a safe place to live?

Bongu!! It’s a wonderful place but there are good and bad in any country. Try St Paul’s Bay if you want to be around people, then move when you discover more. Buggiba is a good place in winter but busy in summer. Malta is becoming a lot more touristy, and prices are soaring so be careful you don’t get ripped off! The Maltese are great but don’t take kindly to foreign people moving in and taking their already limited space. For me, Malta is the best place on earth.
