If you lived in it, then no! Why should you?
You DID say past rent? Well, no…..you’ve already gotten the benefit out of past rent. What you SHOULD be able to do is void any rental agreement or lease you have with the landlord. I’d contact a real estate or contract attorney just to make sure.
YOu might have a case for any rent collected for a period you can’t occupy the house due to loss of premises in foreclosure; you haven’t really explained what rent money you hope to get back. I’d be looking for a new apartment.
If you are living ther and have not been evicted then why do you feel you are owed your money back? Did you sign a lease? Is it being violated? I don’t understand your reason for the question you need more info.
No. You’re just renting. You’re living in it now.
I’m sure you can’t get money back….it IS rent, and you will probably have to continue to pay as long as you are there….why should you expect to live there for FREE??? The foreclosure is their business, nothing to have to do with you….except that you have to move.
No. You lived in it and received the benefit of your payments.
As for the foreclosure/sale, prepare to move.
