woman trying to renovate a house in rural France alone ?

Can anyone tell me if it is neccessary to put knotting on new wood before staining? I have learnt from experience that you have to do it before painting but if it’s not essential before applying stain it will be one job less in amongst a mountain of things that I have to do !!Honestly…..I love this house but I am beginning to think that I must be insane to be doing this alone !!

You only need to treat the knots before staining if the wood is new, because it may still be bleeding resin for some time.

Wow, die is wat ik wil doen en bezit over daar reeds enige tijd bekeken. Als u om het even welke vragen over andere aspecten van uw vernieuwingen hebt me met de elektronische post versturen en ik zou blij zijn te helpen.
U werkelijk don' t moet de knopen behandelen alvorens u bevlekt als het hout oud is. Ik zou absoluut het hout na u vlek het, echter verzegelen, omdat de knopen onbehandeld verlaten barsten in het hout kunnen veroorzaken.

The stain other wise the knots have fun and good luck its not only cheaper to do it yourself but rewarding.
I’m sure lots of people would help you in exchange for a room
