I have about 50K in pounds to invest, Where, when and what is best to invest in, I have access to expertise, barrels of enthusiam and that amount would be a completed price as I don’t wish to have a mortgage. Any useful property websites would be great. I am considering buying to rent and buying to renovate to sell.

i live in Portugal and if you have only 50k to invest including paying lawyers, taxes etc, you will not find anything in the south. try the silver coast, it is up and coming area but you will be hard pushed to purchase and renovate at that price. i would recommend going in with a friend or getting a bank loan. failing that some new EU countries in eastern Europe have low prices and rising market right now. good luck!
