need property insurance for my vacant house that is under renovation in nebraska?

I just moved out of this home and need to insure it while it is being remodeled and then until it is sold. Any help?

I don’t think you can if it’s unoccupied. Call insurance company agents in the area and ask them directly.
You can easily get insurance for a vacant house….but it is a LOT more expensive because the greatly increased risk.
The reason why insurance won’t cover any claims if you buy it and don’t tell them is because you’ve submitted a false application, which voids the policy.
A regular homeowner’s policy will not cover this kind of situation.
You’ll need to contact an agent and tell them you want property insurance for this vacant house, which will eventually be sold.
