ROOF
TEAR OUT IF ELECTRIC IS BAD AND OUT DATED FROM CODE
GO TO THIS OLD HOUSE THEY ARE ALLWAYS DOIN SOMTHIN CRAZY THERE
BASICS FIND YOUR CODES FOR YOUR AREA AND ALL PERMITS REQUIRED TO DO THE WORK TO ORDINANCE
well it depends is the house liveable and do you live in it? or plan to live there if the roof leaks id check on that and make sure that was fixed first for sure because if that leaks then you have a major problem of getting the floor ruined then i would check out the wiring and make sure it was ok and then go from there id do one room at a time because a bunch at one time can be expensive
First stage (usually the most expensive one) – make sure house is structurally sound (foundation, walls, etc) and repair any walls (plaster wise). At the same time install all the utilities, electrical, plumbing, cable, phone, etc. that you will need.
Stage Two – Do roofing and windows
Stage Three – Paint the exterior of the house and do any repair work on siding
Stage Four – Landscaping
Stage Five – Interior decorating
This is very vague and the stages can change in depth and order depending on the need of the individual house. Do things a little bit at a time as you have the money. The first step is doing whatever you have to do to make the house suitable for you to live in. Good luck!
