Housing association, that wants to renovate the house, whats my rights?

They have planned to place new electrics, heating system, kitchen and bathroom. I was given a pack for a 21day notice, but was only given 3 days. I had to pack everything away and give access to all electric and water piping. They will be removing my fire and leaving me with a radiator instead. My wooden flooring goes around the hearth, and i know that after the work is done there will be a gap where hearth used to be. I was advised that i will be without electric for other a day and a half. I have two small children and will have to stay with a realtives, do i have any rights at all whilst this takes place. After all, i was told there will be a lot of dust, and i would need to cover my stuff up to avoid dust damage. Everythings going to get wrecked.
