I have been looking for new house for awhile I finally found one in a good location and I am considering buying it.However it is quite ugly from the outside (the inside looks fantastic)

What measures can I take to make this house(minus garden) better from the outside? I really dislike the orange bricks and white roof.

My budget is probably 10k. Thanks in advance for your answers!

I have a terraced house built in the 1900s. The party walls do not continue up into the loft – the loft of the whole terrace is one large space.

If i want to rent the property out, will i need to put some kind of partition/fire barrior in?

Also any ideas of cost would be good.

I am trying to find a property to rent in Lancaster UK. Is there any ways to find privately rented houses other than the local newspapers? I’m not having much luck with the newspapers and would appreciate other ways of finding a property without having to pay estate agents fees.
