I need to sell my home within 2 weeks, my lenders will take 25K for the home to sell immediately, but any offer would be great. The home still needs some repairs done thats why the price is so low. The after repair value will be worth anywhere from 80K to 100K. I need to sell quickly to avoid foreclosure, If there’s anyone out there that could take this property off my hands or refer me to someone I would greatly appreciate it… There’s alot of profit in this investment, but I dont have the available funds for the repairs to capitalize on it. This property is located in Atlanta, GA. Details: I owe about 120K to the bank which was what the home was appraised for when I bought it in April of 2006, but they will take 25K to satisfy my loan because the mortgage is behind about 17 months (I know, that’s a long time to not pay mortgage and still own a home). Its a single family 2 bed 1 bath home.

My boyfriend and I are relocating because of work and need to move very quickly. Our flat has been on the market for 2 weeks and we have another 2 weeks to sell, or my boyfriend’s job offer will be withdrawn.

We are considering renting whilst waiting for our place to sell (it’s too far to commute from where we live now).

The estate agents estimated 3-6 weeks to sell from the date we put it on the market. We are quite confident it should sell within the next month (but then isn’t everybody confident about their own property?!)

If we rent, we will be paying a mortgage and the rent until our place sells. We could do this by using our overdraft and paying it back with the profit from our sale.

On the upside, it means we’ll be chain-free when we come to buy and that we get to move, which we desperately want (and need) to do. On the downside, what if our current flat does not sell for 6 months?

I’m a landlord and a potential tenant who wanted to move deciding to not move and told me 2 weeks later. Do I have to give their money back? I was left with no tenant now I’m having trouble paying my mortgage.

I know you have to pay an admin fee which includes any paper work and a credit check, so if you fail the check you dont get to rent the property. Isnt renting property more likley to be for people who cant get a mortgage due to circumstances like bad credit etc? Which would mean you wouldnt have many options.

My husband informed me today that he has someone coming to look at our house to buy it. I knew we both agreed to sell it in the future (after he finnished some repairs) but I had no idea he was going to do so this fast. He flat out told me that he is going to take the first offer, no matter how much it is, as long as it equal to or high than what we own. The thing is, it’s worth two times what we owe, and i dont want to be ripped off. Since my name is on the mortgage too, he cant sell it without my approval or agreeance, can he?

My landlord hasn’t been paying the mortgage for the house that we have been renting for a year and a half and we have been paying rent on the house the whole time. It doesnt seem right that he is making money off a property he isnt paying for. Is this against the law?

My story is a bit like divorce but involves myself and my younger sister.

The short version is that I bought a run down flat with my sister and we have a joint mortgage. The plan was to do it up and split the profit 50/50. What happened was I ended up having to do the large majority of the renovation work and pay for most of the materials, while she made excuses and eventually refused to acknowledge that she wasn’t contributing to anything but the mortgage.

Now the work is finished (and we hate each other) we want to sell, but she is refusing to accept less than 50%. My parents are not helping and say that the work I’ve done doesn’t make any difference to how the profit should be split.

So, my question is does the work done to improve the value of a property come into consideration at all legally? And what is the likely hood of my being granted a higher share if it were to go to court?

I can afford a max mortgage of 80k and I am looking for property auctions so that I can buy a cheaper property, possibly with need of renovations.
Does anyone know how i go about this in Buckinghmahsire / Northampton area?
Is it possible to get anything on this value ?I am lookign for a 1-2 bedroom flat/house.
Any resource about property auctions around these areas will be much appreciated.

I have about 50K in pounds to invest, Where, when and what is best to invest in, I have access to expertise, barrels of enthusiam and that amount would be a completed price as I don’t wish to have a mortgage.
