I want to buy a house near Geneva (preferably in Switzerland rather than commute from France) to renovate. Anyone know of any such projects or recommend how to find them? I would rather find a project through local contacts/estate agents but being based in London that is not so easy. Websites in French or English are fine.

i am 23, female and from london. i have never known what i wanted to do with my life. my desk job is driving me insane, as i long to be doign something practical. i have been thinking about doing a handyman course as i would really like to be able to buy a property that is run down and renovate it. nothing big at first, maybe an old ladies house that needs painting, and new ktichen and bathroom. can anyone please give me some advice. i live in kingston upon thames. i don’t know wether i could get a job with a handy man or builder or even a property developer who buys, renovates and sells on. i don’t want people thinking i am trying to make that big elusive buck. i am willign to put the work in and training. i would be able to raise the money to buy my first project in about a year, as i have my own property already.
any help or info would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
