A freind of mine has an investment property in Atlanta Georgia that he is trying to sell. It is a 4 year old Duplex with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths in each unit. It needs no repairs, it was built in 2002, it has wood floors throughout and it is close to public transportation, colleges and downtown. He is asking 335K for it and it was appriased 9 months ago for 350K. He has an open listing with a realtor for a few months but hasn’t had any luck getting any buyers. The realtor said it isn’t selling due to the tight market and the time of year he is trying to sell. Can you suggest any ways to get more interested buyers?

The property is just 6 miles from the Columbia river in Washougal WA. There are two hatcheries just upstream that produce 5 runs of HUGE fish per year! My last steelhead was caught on April 10th, and weighed 17lbs! There is a fixer two bdrm. w/ detatched single garage. On RMLS for 6mos. but I don’t think it’s enough. I believe if I can get to the target audience, it will sell fast. Any Ideas?

My husband informed me today that he has someone coming to look at our house to buy it. I knew we both agreed to sell it in the future (after he finnished some repairs) but I had no idea he was going to do so this fast. He flat out told me that he is going to take the first offer, no matter how much it is, as long as it equal to or high than what we own. The thing is, it’s worth two times what we owe, and i dont want to be ripped off. Since my name is on the mortgage too, he cant sell it without my approval or agreeance, can he?

I have to pay the rent the 1st of every month the property is in foreclosure since july and is going to be auctioned off at the court steps Nov 12 received notice Oct 22 , My question is should I pay the whole month or send partial rent or wait until they management company asks for it? Has anyone else gone through this?

Quick House Sale

When you walk through the front entrance door, the back of my fireplace is what you see. As you walk though (and around the fireplace), you move into my main area, the living room. I am completely renovating my house and believe that since this is the center of my house, I should remodel it first. Built in the 80’s, it’s all brick until you hit the cellings. I would love to update it but not sure how. Do I knock down all the brick or build and add plywood and tile to the outside? Just really, really needing some assistance…. Thank you!
